My approach to personal training is to ensure every client leaves every session feeling energised and with a sense of achievement. Whether that achievement is a fitness maintenance session during pregnancy or getting stronger, faster, fitter and happier post-partum.

I offer a personalised service so the challenge that each session presents will be real, pushing you when you can be pushed or holding back when that’s the right approach.

I have trained in ante and post natal fitness and of course I have a wealth of personal experience, which means I understand and I am always mindful of the fact that the visible changes to a pregnant woman’s body are not the only thing going on, there are also incredible internal changes which impact stability, flexibility and strength. These changes bring a certain complexity that requires specialised guidance and instruction. The same applies to post-natal fitness when the body is working hard to readjust to life without a little person growing inside it.

I am mobile so I can come to you, or you can come to me or we can make use of a local park or gym. I am also happy to do small group sessions.

The first session, which is complementary, will be a discussion about your health, nutrition, sense of well being and goal setting. If time allows there may be some fitness testing. I also provide additional support such as programmes for independent use.
